The biblical text identifies Zereth as part of a large family structure, listing his full siblings as Zohar (also referred to as Izhar) and Ethnan.

Beyond his immediate nuclear family, the record links Zereth to a wider network of kin through his father’s second wife, Naarah. These half-siblings include Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. This extensive listing suggests that Zereth belonged to a significant clan within the Judean territory, likely settled in the region surrounding Tekoa.
